  • Rasa panas yang melampau..tido tak selesa sebab berpeluh2..melekit2 badan semua..baju takyah cakap la caner punya lencun..kadang2 selambe je tak tahan sangat tido bogel je..haha
  • Rasa selalu letih and lesu..badan rasa penat sangat..balik umah lepas keja pun melepek je..Mr Hubby yang tolong basuh and jemur baju..thank u so much bb..saaaayang die hihi
  • Tidur malam makin tak nyenyak..sebab pikir baby terpenyek bila pusing kanan or kiri..tido telentang pulak lenguh pinggang..

  • Nama for si tecik dah ada..i think. As long as Mr Hubby tak tambah itu ini mengarut2 tu dah laaa..haha

you're 32 weeks pregnant!

Was that a contraction? Yup, but it's just for practice. Those strengthening Braxton Hicks contractions are just your body's way of prepping for the real deal. (If you feel more than four in an hour or have discharge, call the doc.) Farther north, your nipples are getting darker and (yes, it's possible) bigger -- all the better for baby to see (and latch onto) in a few short months.

Baby's now the size of a squash!
Ready or not, baby's getting ready to emerge. She's probably in the head-down position by now, with her bottom facing up. This is the comfiest way for her body to fit in your increasingly cramped womb and will make her eventual exit (only a few months away now!) much easier. (If she's still head-up, don't panic -- there's still time for a flip before birth.)

nak terberanak dah ke???

31 weeks yang mencabar..physically and mentally..emotionally pun..

it started on last Friday evening..after having Big Mac. The tummy went haywire..rase tak sedap and constant visits to the loo..i thot ok la too much of chili sauce kot..so biar je la..and hope it would be kejap je..

then at night, mr hubby and i had char kuey tiaw for dinner..lepas abis makan je..wooshhh trus berlarian ke toilet..and another and another throughout the nite..

the next morning..lembik. perut rasa pedih and memulas2..a friend of mine from Sarawak came to KL to attend another friend's wedding..dah janji nak amik dia and off to KLIA. Sebelum tu sempat lagi vomit dulu..lepas tu baru rase lega sikit..oh my..seksa gile..

On Sunday, dah ok pagi tu..so yeayy rase happy..boleh pergi a friend's wedding reception and shoppinggg..hehehe no no kali ni utk mummy pulak..baby dah nak settle..mummy nye belum sehabuk lagi..huhu so managed to do both and quite satisfied with the hasil rembatan..hehe

Tapi happy takat petang tu je laa..malam tu sakit perut datang lagi..this time around it was so bad rasa nak nangis..so mlm tu tak tido..asyik ulang alik ke toilet dan berguling2 kesakitan..

Monday, tak tahan sangat terus gi klinik..doc check ketuk2 perut ni..bunyi kuat gile..bunyi kembung yang masuk angin tu..die ckp food poisoning..so ok la bagi ubat amik MC coz dah lembik xlarat sgt dah time tu..nak gi keje pun xberdaya..

Makan ubat semua hari Selasa gi office..pagi tu ada meeting, dalam meeting perut buat hal lagi..perit n pedih..xsenang duduk dalam meeting tu..Ya Allah seksanyaaa..tapi tahan je la nak buat mcm mana..then petang ada check up kat KKPJ..urine semua ok, HB pun naik 0.5, berat naik sekilo je so ok la tu..nurse tanya ada sakit ape2 tak..so i said ada sakit perut..takde pun nak suh jumpe doc ke pe..so buat xtau je la sbb ubat ade lg..then balik umah malam tu perut sakit lagi..ubat dah nak abes mkn..perut tak ok2 gak..

Rabu, terpaksa EL sebab mlm sebelum tu xboleh tido and sakit tak hilang2..purging semua dah ok cuma sakit perut memulas2 tu yang xtahan..rase cam nak terkeluar isi perut, tapi gi toilet tak keluar pape..perut mengeras everytime memulas2 tu datang..kalau angin ke pe mesti tak keras kan..i ada wonder jugak..tp ye la 1st time pregnant mana nak tau normal ke tak benda tu kan..

the whole day sakit tu datang off and on..bile datang tu siap la..rase nak terkeluar segala isi perut..pelik la kenapa tak baik2 sakit ni..salunye pas makan ubat mesti ok nye..ni ubat pun dah abis, makin sakit ade la..so ade friends yg advise gi check lg takut benda lain lak kan..sbb perut mengeras kerap gile..sekejap2 keras..rase risau sgt..

ade ex-colleague yang simptom2 mcm i..sakit perut macam nak ceret tapi tak keluar pape pun..
TERbersalin mase dia 31 weeks dulu...waaaaa terus panik dan takut..dan2 terus nak gi basuh baju baby semua nak pack bag (sbb satu ape pun xsiap lagi..kalu kene bersalin ke pe kan naya je tu..huhu)..mr hubby pun dah cuak..die suh i rest jgn gerak die gi basuh semua baju2 tu..tgh2 mlm lak tu..haha lawak la bila ingat2 balik..sayang bb [=D

Thursday, pagi2 terus ke An-Nur, Bangi nak jumpa doc cepat..risau takyah cakap la..tapi baby kat dalam aktif tendang2..so lega la sikit rase..i noticed kalau gi klinik tu mesti die aktif semacam..tau agaknye nak jumpe die kat dalam tu..nak tunjuk aksi2 kot..huhu comel je..

SOP macam biasa, amek BP, berat and test urine..perut memulas2 sementara tunggu tu..rasa nak duk kat toilet je sepanjang masa..bila masuk jumpa doc tanya apa khabar terus cakap tak sehat..dan2 pulak time tu memulas2 tu berhenti2..doc cakap patut la urine kotor..boleh induce contraction and kalau serious sangat boleh preterm labor..wooooo sebbaik gi cepat..tak sangka effect dia sampai camtu sekali..ishkk yang peliknye sebelum ni baru je check urine kat gomen ok je..hmm baru kena kot ni..

bila doc check baby semua ok..Alhamdulillahh...itu yang penting..asalkan the lil one inside doing fine, growing accordingly..berat lil one dah 1.6kg..heeee dah besar anak mummy ni..=)

doc advised to drink a lot of plain water, rest cukup2 (2 days of MC tuu), makan antibiotics and minum air untuk lawas urine..harap2 hilang la sakit perut and infection nie..Amiinnn~

and i did my own research on the matter taken from Mr Google of course:

Urinary Tract Infection During Pregnancy

Why are UTI's more common during pregnancy?

UTI's are more common during pregnancy because of changes in the urinary tract. The uterus sits directly on top of the bladder. As the uterus grows, its increased weight can block the drainage of urine from the bladder, causing an infection.

What are the signs and symptoms of UTI's?

If you have a urinary tract infection, you may experience one or more of the following symptoms:

  • Pain or burning (discomfort) when urinating
  • The need to urinate more often than usual
  • A feeling of urgency when you urinate
  • Blood or mucus in the urine
  • Cramps or pain in the lower abdomen
  • Pain during sexual intercourse
  • Chills, fever, sweats, leaking of urine (incontinence)
  • Waking up from sleep to urinate
  • Change in amount of urine, either more or less
  • Urine that looks cloudy, smells foul or unusually strong
  • Pain, pressure, or tenderness in the area of the bladder
  • When bacteria spreads to the kidneys you may experience: back pain, chills, fever, nausea, and vomiting.

How will the UTI affect my baby?

If the UTI goes untreated, it may lead to a kidney infection. Kidney infections may cause early labor and low birth weight. If your doctor treats a urinary tract infection early and properly, the UTI will not cause harm to your baby.

How is a UTI treated?

UTI's can be safely treated with antibiotics during pregnancy. Urinary tract infections are most commonly treated by antibiotics. Doctors usually prescribe a 3-7 day course of antibiotics that is safe for you and the baby.

Call your doctor if you have fever, chills, lower stomach pains, nausea, vomiting, contractions, or if after taking medicine for three days, you still have a burning feeling when you urinate.

How can I prevent a UTI?

You may do everything right and still experience a urinary tract infection, but you can reduce the likelihood by doing the following:

  • Drink 6-8 glasses of water each day and unsweetened cranberry juice regularly.
  • Eliminate refined foods, fruit juices, caffeine, alcohol, and sugar.
  • Take Vitamin C (250 to 500 mg), Beta-carotene (25,000 to 50,000 IU per day) and Zinc (30-50 mg per day) to help fight infection.
  • Develop a habit of urinating as soon as the need is felt and empty your bladder completely when you urinate.
  • Urinate before and after intercourse.
  • Avoid intercourse while you are being treated for an UTI.
  • After urinating, blot dry (do not rub), and keep your genital area clean. Make sure you wipe from the front toward the back.
  • Avoid using strong soaps, douches, antiseptic creams, feminine hygiene sprays, and powders.
  • Change underwear and pantyhose every day.
  • Avoid wearing tight-fitting pants.
  • Wear all cotton or cotton-crotch underwear and pantyhose.
  • Don't soak in the bathtub longer than 30 minutes or more than twice a day.

So mom 2bs, please be aware of this..gi check cepat2 if u feel something is not right with the body..esp when it involves the tummy and lower..

Baby Stroller

Hmm..buying a stroller can be verryy pening...things to consider, the kach$ng of course. Plus the quality, durability and etc..some suggested that it was best to buy it after the confinement period..because you wont be needing it until the baby is 2-3 months old..which is true at some point.kecik2 lagi tak boleh letak dalam stroller pun..as newborn needs to lie completely flat. So a lot of things to consider...ye la nak beli yang value for money kan kena la survey2 sana sini..survey2 tu yg buat penat tu..yang mana nak budget pulak over the roof..nak yang murah tak berkenan pulak..haha fussy2..

kalau ikut guideline ni ada 10 things yang penting la..

10 Things to consider when choosing a baby stroller

  1. How many children do you plan on having? - If you plan on having more than one child you may consider getting a multiple occupancy stroller. Also, you may consider buying a higher quality stroller that will last long enough for a second or third child.

  2. Your lifestyle - Will you be taking short trips with the baby? Long trips? Will you be taking your baby jogging and exercising with you?

  3. Seatbelt & Restraint system - The buckles should be easy for you to latch and unlatch, yet comfortable for your baby or child. The belt should fit snugly around your baby's waist and have crotch straps that loop into the waist belt to prevent him or her from slipping out. For jogging strollers a five-point harness is more desirable to keep your baby more secure on rough terrain.

  4. Adjustable seat and canopy - A stroller with an adjustable seat that fully reclines is a must for infants that cannot support their heads yet and is comfortable for children who want to nap on the go. An adjustable canopy is a plus to protect your baby from the sun, rain, wind or cold.

  5. What is the frame material made from? - Strollers can be made of plastic, aluminum, steel or a combination of materials. Strollers made of steel or aluminum will usually last longer but there is the added weight. The lightweight strollers with more plastic are easy to move around, but keep in mind they may not last long.

  6. Washable fabric - Be sure the stroller has removable fabric that can be easily cleaned. Most strollers have removable seats that can be cleaned.

  7. Storage area - If you're going on a long outing, you will want storage area for all the stuff you will be toting around.

  8. Brakes, wide wheel base and swivel wheels - Be sure the stroller has brakes that lock the wheels in place, a wheel base that is wide for stability and wheels that swivel for easy maneuverability.

  9. Adjustable Handle height - With most strollers being designed for the average height person; if you are tall you will want an adjustable handle.

  10. Easy open and close mechanism - You will want a stroller that folds with the use of one hand or foot, leaving the other hand free to hold your baby.

and if for newborn, penting to have a seat yang boleh recline..so that the baby will lie completely flat to jaga the spine..fragile lagi kan NB nie..
so after much thought, my hubby and i planned to buy stroller yang ada sekali dengan carseat/carrier..senang takyah beli asing2..banyak la advantages die..senang nak bawa baby dalam carrier without waking the baby up untuk letak dalam stroller masa nak kuar etc..

survey punya survey kat internet..finally i found this super cool travel system...

Baby stroller with carrying basket (pram), carrier, rear braking mechanism, front wheel with suspension,, handle boleh tukar facing front and rear, footmuff, washashable fabric, boleh recline, siap mama bag with multiple compartment..ALL IN ONE.

nak beli Quinny, haihh over the budget..plus carrier kena beli separate sumer kan..so this is the best yang i jumpa and terus berkenan...sebab:

  • handle boleh ubah position
  • ada carrier cum carseat
  • besar (for long term use sampai toddler)
  • ada pram (lie flat senang)

and yang buat lagi best, masa Mydear Warehouse Sale aritu, ada less for this stroller..apelagi terus rembat time tu gak..haha pegi sana nak beli benda lain, ended up beli benda lain..sangattt puas hatiii....happy happy!! (yang buat tambah2 happy, my beloved parents bermurah hati nak sponsor..syukur alhamdulillah..sayaannggggg mama n abah..hihi)

tak sabar nak tunggu baby kuar nak bawak gi jalan2..huhu..

10 Weird (But Totally Normal) Things About Your Newborn

This interesting article is taken form theBump.com for moms and m2bs out there..happy reading!

1. Cradle cap

What's the deal? There's no way around it -- cradle caps are pretty gross. But they're also pretty common. How come? Honestly, nobody knows for sure. The good news is any dryness or flakiness will usually disappear within baby's first few months (though for some, random flare ups could go on for longer). In the meantime, try rubbing baby oil on the patches two or three times a week. Dr. Alanna Levine, parenting expert and pediatrician at Orangetown Pediatric Associates in New York, suggests making it a routine before baby's bath and scraping the caps off with a fine-toothed comb.

When to worry: Luckily, there's not too much worrying you need to do about this one -- it's basically nothing more than a common rash. But if it spreads beyond baby's scalp or seems to be growing more severe, ask your doc about getting a prescription ointment.

2. Explosive poop

What's the deal? Okay, maybe our use of the word "explosive" was a bit much. But the truth is, you haven't been officially initiated into parenthood until you've had to deal with a diaper explosion or two. In other words, you're not the first mom to clean baby poop off those newly painted nursery walls. For a little schooling on the physics of it all, Dr. Levine breaks it down: "Newborn poop is mostly liquid with some mustard-seed texture mixed in," she says. "As a result, it doesn't take much power to propel it across a room." Grossed out yet? Just wait until you’ve got an "up-the-backer" on your hands.

When to worry: As long as it has color (ranging from brown to green to yellow) and some seedy particles in it, baby's poop should be good to go. But if you spot any signs of blood, Dr. Levine says it's time to get on the phone with your doc.

3. Baby boobage

What's the deal? Remember those wacky hormones that plagued your entire pregnancy? (How could you forget?) Well, they did a number on baby too. And, unfortunately, one of the side effects of hanging out in your belly for 9 months can be...well, large boobs. Baby's exposure to your hormones can often cause breast tissue to develop, since it takes a while for the hormones to wear off. But don't stress, they're generally nothing to be concerned about and should go away in time.

When to worry: Notice any redness around baby's breast? If so, Dr. Levine also suggests taking baby's temp, to see if the redness is accompanied by a fever. These symptoms may be a sign of something more serious, and reason to get baby checked out.

4. Weird groaning noises

What's the deal? If you expected just a little cooing and occasional crying out of baby, think again. Babies make a racket. There's grunting, groaning, snorting, and all sorts of other funny sounds that you'll hear out of her. But according to Dr. Levine, all those strange noises are caused by baby's nasal passages being pretty narrow in the newborn stage, leading the mucus that gets trapped in there to create some added sound effects. If you've been hearing a symphony of sounds lately, you may just need to spend more time clearing out baby's nose with a nasal aspirator.

When to worry: Take note of whether or not baby grunts with each breath. If so, he may be having trouble breathing. In this case, Dr. Levine says to call your pediatrician ASAP.

5. Constant sneezing

What's the deal? Don't forget that baby's new to this world and everything in it and, as a result, she's extra-sensitive to lots of things you're already immune to. So if she's sneezing up a storm but not actually sick, she's probably trying to banish any little foreign particles that have made their way into her nasal passages. Looking at the light will also be an adjustment for her, so if you take baby out on a bright sunny day and she starts sneezing, it may actually be the sun -- and not allergies -- that's to blame. Other common causes for sneezing could be to get rid of extra mucus or even amniotic fluid from the respiratory airways.

When to worry: If baby's sneezes are accompanied by wheezing, have her checked out by your pediatrician to see if she may have allergies or something else that needs treatment. You'll want to make sure her breathing is kosher, her swallowing is normal, and her lungs are clear, in order to rule out anything serious.

6. Random jerky movements

What's the deal? Baby's random jerks and spastic limb flailing may be a bit jarring to watch at first, but just keep in mind it's all par for the course. In those first few months, he'll be dealing with a lot of developmental changes, one of which includes honing his startle reflex (or Moro reflex). Maybe you'll see him doing it randomly or maybe it comes after he hears a loud noise, but either way he'll start to settle down around three or four months. Until then you might want to put your swaddling skills to good use: Babies often startle themselves awake, and swaddling will help baby sleep more soundly.

When to worry: You should actually only worry if baby isn’t exhibiting any jerkiness or spastic movements. Their absence could mean something's not quite right. So if baby isn't showing any of these signs, speak with your doc.

7. Oddly-shaped heads

What's the deal? Giving birth is a tough job, plain and simple. But remember, it's not just you doing all the work down there. Baby's working overtime to get down that birth canal. And after that journey, it's no wonder he came out all purple and swollen-looking. Since baby's little head is soft and malleable in the beginning, squeaking his way past your pelvic bone can definitely cause some flattening to occur. If it doesn't happen during delivery, baby could also get some flat spots later on from lying on his back too much. If you notice this, try holding baby in your arms more, or as Dr. Levine suggests, increase tummy time when baby's awake, and alternate where you place his toys, so he doesn't favor any one side.

When to worry: If you've tried everything and baby's head still seems flat in some places, talk to your doc. He may need to wear a temporary helmet to correct the shape of his head. Helmets are most affective if worn as early as four to six months, though, so don’t wait too long to speak up if you feel like something's wrong.

8. Swollen genitals

What's the deal? There's no delicate way to say this. If you've just given birth to a newborn boy, you may notice his little man parts are significantly larger than you’d probably expect. Specifically, the testes. So what’s up? Baby can be affected by hormone exposure in your belly just before birth. Or, there could be extra fluid build-up in the sac around his testicles. But don't worry, he'll flush it out with his pee in a few days. Same goes for your baby girl, who may have swollen labia for a few days after delivery. Either way, the puffiness should go down with a little time. Speaking of, here's a fun fact for you: Baby will shed so much fluid in the first few days of life that they'll actually drop around 10 percent of their original body weight.

When to worry: If the swelling doesn't go down within a few days after delivery, you should probably get it looked at, particularly if you’ve got a baby boy on your hands. Boys can develop a condition called hydrocele, which can actually take up to a year to correct on its own.

9. Blood in the diaper

What's the deal? Spotting even the tiniest trace of blood in baby's diaper is enough to freak out any new parent; but the truth is, it's not always cause for alarm. There are tons of legit reasons why it may be happening, all of which are temporary. If you've just had a baby girl, she may be experiencing some extra side effects from being exposed to your hormones in utero. Have no worries, a "mini-period" is actually pretty common among infant girls going through a little estrogen withdrawal in the days following delivery. The hormones will even out soon enough. Other potential causes: a particularly rough BM may have caused a little scratch or cut on the way out, but the bleeding should fade fast. Was your baby recently circumcised? The blood may be from his healing wound. Make sure to apply Vaseline whenever necessary to ease his pain and be extra liberal about moisturizing it. Same goes if baby has a nasty case of diaper rash.

When to worry: Though it's probably totally normal, we're going to give you an out on this one. For the sake of your own sanity, just go ahead and call your doc to be sure. Rare is the new parent who can see blood in their newborn's diaper and actually manage to get some sleep that night.

10. Crossed eyes

What's the deal? In the beginning, a slight case of wonk-eye in baby is to be expected. She’s still trying to sort out all her newfound abilities, one being her sense of sight, and it will take some time for her to gain a little muscle control and hone her focusing techniques. But believe it or not, sometimes even when baby's eyes may look like they're crossed, they may not be. Because of a broad bridge of the nose, extra skin folds can mask some of the white parts of baby's eyes. This can create a sort of optical illusion called pseudoesotropia. So take a closer look: Are baby's pupils actually lined up and moving together? It may be all in your head after all! (It happens to the best of us.)

When to worry: According to Dr. Levine, if baby's still showing signs of crossed or wandering eyes by six months, you should make an appointment to see if something else is at play. If your little one's eyes are chronically wandering off in two different directions, she may have strabismus; and if there’s just one eye going rogue, she may have amblyopia, or lazy eye.

and the result is...

Phewww finally sesi minum air gula dah berakhir yeayy~
Pagi2 7.30 dah tercongok kat KKPJ tu..prosedur die test urine, lepas tu amek darah..malam sebelum tu dah posa start 9.00 pm (tapi sempat makan donut Big Apple lagi okk..hubbyku le gi beli..sajee jeee)..pas amek darah baru minum air glukos berwarna oren yang maha pekat tu..aduihhh sebbaik a friend of mine dah bagi tips awal2..tutup hidung and telan dalam satu nafas..and it worked!! takde bau pape, takde rase pape..pas abes je rase perit la tekak tapi kejap je..thanks knits for the tips!hehe

Nurse awal2 lagi dah warning jangan pegi mane2, jangan tido. Kalau tak, result tak tepat sebab apa2 aktiviti yang kita buat perlukan tenaga and gula tu tukar jadi tenaga. Nurse tu la cakap sebab aku plan memang nak tido kat surau sementara tunggu 2 jam tu..haihh niat murni terpaksa dibatalkan..haha gile boringggggg tunggu 2 jam tu..bila pikir takut result tak btol kang naya lak kene minum lagi kan..xnak la gueee...

so pas 2 jam tu pegi balik kat makmal kena test urine sekali lagi and amek darah..lepas tu baru ley makan..gile laparrrr time tu..perut bunyi kuat gile..kaki pun dah lemah2 nak jalan..
pas makan sejam gi balik kat klinik jumpe nurse untuk check up..Alhamdulillah result ok..sebelum minum 4.36 mmol/l and after 2 hours 5++ mmol/l..syukurrrr~
bila timbang berat seperti bese la naik lagi 2 kg..adehh nurse pun xley nak cakap ape lg dah..nak kata ada gula result normal..tapi berat asek naik jeeee..makan xbyk pun..aku pasan peha ngan bontot aku dah tak boleh blahhh..waaaaaaaaaa~xpe xpe pantang btol2 pasni..huhu
12.30 baru dapat balik..penat gile la..rase nak amek MC je..tapi kene jumpe doc lak..leceh~

The next day check up di Annur pulak..scan baby tengok development dia..baby dah pusing ke bawah doc cakap..whick is great!stay kat bawah ye sayang..jangan pusing2 lagi dah k..huhu
last month check up baby still in breech position..so hopefully he stays down there till deliver la..Amiinn~
next month ada antenatal class for patients of Annur..FOC. Tak sabar tunggu klas tu..minta2 la sempat..klas tu on 23rd tak silap..dah nak hujung2 bulan dah..nak dekat 8 bulan..

As for now...

you're 29 weeks pregnant!

Week 29 Thanks to your ever-expanding uterus, it's time to welcome back the constant bathroom dashes. And try your best to forget about any emerging varicose veins -- they might be ugly, but they're harmless and should fade after delivery. Until then, avoid standing or sitting for long periods of time and make sure to get some exercise (it'll boost your circulation).
